I signed up for a swap on the Cricut.com messageboards. The task was to create a mini book out of 6 toliet paper rolls. I sent my finished book across the country and then received one in return. Below are some of the pics of my book.

Card Challenge
So I hope to scrap more this year. To help me do this, I am going to try two challenge blogs. One is for Christmas cards. I know...I know...It's January and I am thinking of Christmas already. BUT I hope I can work throughout the year and not be making 30 cards on December 20th. HAHAHA.... So to the first challenge.
Check out Bah! Humbug! for fun Christmas themed challenges all year long.
Holly or Fairy
I found this cute fairy and thought I would try a gel paint technique. The paper is from Basic Gray. It is a really old Christmas Stack. Trying to use what I got. Which is more than I really think. Don't know how long that will last though! :)
I added some bling and flowers.
Now I just need to figure out a verse for the inside.

Storage solution
I test run an idea this weekend to store my cricut cartridges. I think I am going to like this solution. I have them set up on my desk but it is also easy to transport. I used a Clip It Up system to display my overlays, books and cartridges. I velcroed the cartridges to an 8x10 plexi board. I thought that you could probably velcro the cartridges to the back of the books to make it less bulky.
